Tragedy struck in Osun State during the accreditation exercise for the
House of Assembly elections held on Saturday when a man slumped and
died during the accreditation exercise , reports Daily Independent.
The deceased, Abiodun Ajirotutu, was until his death the Peoples
Democratic Party's chairman in Ward 2, Ireti Ayo Unit in Ilesa West
Local Government Area.
The unfortunate incident almost marred the accreditation and voting
exercises in the area. The incident created confusion in the camp of
the PDP in Ilesa.
Party members were, however, able to summon courage to perform their
civic responsibility.-Daily Independent
