The Bayelsa State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was
yesterday thrown into mourning following the mysterious death of a
serving member of the state House of Assembly, Mr. Obedient Emoto.
Emoto, who represented Ogbia constituency II at the state House of
Assembly, reportedly died Tuesday at 3.30p.m., in Port-Harcourt
following a leg injury sustained in controversial circumstances.
When contacted, the Information Officer of the deceased lawmaker, Mr.
Majesty Inegbegha, confirmed the demise of his boss.
According to him, "He died of complications from a leg injury and his
body has been deposited at the morgue of the Port Harcourt Teaching
Hospital in Rivers State."
