The youngest Nobel peace laureate Malala Yousafzai February 8 called for global support regarding the rescue of more than 200 Chibok school girls.
Three hundred days have passed since the abduction of the girls by Boko Haram insurgents.
Speaking on Sunday, the 17-year-old who last year visited Nigeria and met with President Goodluck Jonathan in connection with the kidnap, said:
“As we mark this tragic 300th day of captivity for hundreds of kidnapped Nigerian schoolgirls, I call on people everywhere to join me in demanding urgent action to free these heroic girls.”
