An 18-year-old girl, Rahma Hussain,
yesterday killed her husband in Darmanawa area of Tarauni LGA of Kano
State, Daily Trust gathered.
She stabbed her husband, 25-year-old Tijjani Bashir, several times until he died around 10.am yesterday.
It was gathered that the marriage ceremony of the couple who were relatives was held Sunday.
Police spokesman, ASP Magaji Musa Majia, said the girl was arrested and the case was being investigated.
“When the information reached our division in the area, our men rushed there and took the man to the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital where he was confirmed dead. The wife is with us,” he said.
It would be recalled that a teen bride, Wasila Tasiu, recently killed her husband and two others with rat poison also in the state.
