American Man Sends Over $100,000 To Wife In Nigeria He’s Never Met

A 53-year-old man who has sent over $100,000 to a 
woman he has never met in Nigeria insists he is only providing financial
 assistance until she inherits $25.6 million from her dead parents.<br /><br />Steve
 appeared on the talk show, Dr. Phil, to discuss his unusual 
relationship with 'Kelly' whom he met on an online dating website in 
2012.<br /><br />He says the pair are legally married in Nigeria, even though he has never met her and they usually only communicate online.<br /><br />Steve
 says he has been giving her the money for the last few years to help 
her until she receives her inheritance from her parents - she claims 
they were killed in an Ohio car crash in 2012.<br /><br />Steve sells his 
plasma - a yellowish liquid that has to be separated from blood - twice a
 week to ensure he can make payments to 'Kelly' who lives with 'James,' 
her 'attorney.'<br /><br />I've sent Kelly about $103,000 in the last 29 months,' he said on the show as a flabbergasted audience listened.<br /><br />'I've not met Kelly, but it doesn't matter. I love her just the same.<br /><br />'She has an inheritance coming, and I've always wanted to be a millionaire, so it's like a match made in heaven.'<br /><br />'I just love her. She is very beautiful and warm, kind, caring and loving.'<br /><br />Steve says he has not met 'Kelly' as she needs to stay in Nigeria to help with signing the inheritance forms.<br /><br />He said that 'Kelly' came back to the US he tried to meet her, but it didn't work out.<br /><br />But
 when Dr. Phil's team analysed an email she sent Steve claiming she was 
in South Dakota, the IP address revealed it was sent from Nigeria.<br /><br />'Kelly'
 told Steve she went to a nursing school in North Dakota, but when the 
show contacted the school they said no one with her name had ever been 
enrolled.<br /><br />But 'Kelly' is not the only person Steve is sending 
money to - he says he is an accountant, and insists he is on the verge 
of becoming a multi-millionaire from several pending inheritance deals 
with overseas clients.<br /><br />He says he is sending them money to cover their legal fees as they fight to obtain their inheritances.<br /><br />But
 he is now on probation for cashing a fraudulent cheque that was sent to
 him from Africa - he was asked to cash it to help a 'client whose life 
was in danger' and then asked to send $5,000 to five people listed.<br /><br />However the bank picked up on it and he was arrested.<br /><br />Steve's sister, Tammy, says she is worried, as he has been scammed in the past.<br /><br />She is asking him to cut ties with 'Kelly' - and his other so-called clients.<br /><br />'My brother is delusional,' Tammy says.<br /><br />''Kelly' could be a Nigerian man behind a computer.'<br /></div>

Woman Hides Late Brother’s Skeleton In Wardrobe For Two Years In Anambra

 food vendor in Anambra State, Ngozi Aloefuna, is in the eye of the 
storm after she was discovered to have been in custody of the remains of
 her brother who died of mental illness about two years ago. The corpse 
of Stephen Aloefuna, a former footballer with Rangers International Club
 in the 80s, was hidden in the family house for the past two years until
 it had decomposed to a skeleton.<br />Residents of Amikwo Village, 
Awka South Local Government Area, where the incident happened, were 
benumbed by the shocking discovery, even as people accused Ngozi, the 
food vendor, of mischievously harvesting her brother’s body parts to 
cook the food she sells to the public in the market.<br />Daily Sun 
investigation revealed that the woman was a popular food vendor in 
Eke-Awka market. Eyewitnesses to the horror told our reporter that the 
remains of the young man had turned into a skeleton when it was 
discovered by one of his brothers, who pressed Ngozi to show him where 
the late Stephen was buried.<br />The man, stunned by the bizarre 
sight, raised the alarm that attracted neighbours to the room. The sight
 shocked the neighbours, as they never imagined that they had lived with
 a decomposing corpse for the past two years. While suspecting Ngozi of 
sinister motives, the villagers alleged that she was using her late 
brother’s parts to prepare food for her customers, as nothing could 
explain why she locked up his remains in a room for two years.<br /><br />It
 was gathered that the bewildered neighbours descended on Ngozi, as they
 demanded explanation for such evil. Sources disclosed that Ngozi 
admitted that it was the skeleton of her brother, Stephen, who died of 
mental sickness. However, her failure to explain why she hid the corpse 
increased people’s speculation that she had something sinister rolled up
 her sleeves.<br /><br />But when Daily Sun went to the residence of the 
suspect to probe further, her relations denied the claim, insisting that
 she was innocent of any diabolical act. A member of the family, who 
spoke with our reporter on condition of anonymity, confirmed the death 
of Stephen, who he said suffered mental problem for many years before 
his death.<br /><br />It was reported that Ngozi tried all she could do for 
him to recover from his sickness but all her efforts proved abortive. 
So, when he died, she called one of their brothers and reported the 
death of their brother, Stephen, but he allegedly shunned her and asked 
her not to bother him again. For the past two years, the corpse was 
denied a proper burial and abandoned in the room, where it decomposed to
 bones.<br /><br />The dishonour to the dead came to light recently when Mr.
 Ifeanyi Aloefuna accosted Ngozi and demanded to see where the deceased 
was buried. It was at that point that she led him to the room where he 
beheld the terrifying skeleton of the late Stephen.<br /><br />When this 
reporter asked Ngozi whether she was guilty of cooking her brother’s 
body parts, she said: “I am innocent. I did not kill my brother. 
Everybody knew he had a mental problem and was seriously sick before he 
died. Before he died, I was the only person that was taking care of him 
for years and nobody asked me how he was faring until he died. They said
 I killed him and used his body to prepare the food that I sell but only
 God knows the truth. I leave it for God to judge.”<br /><br />She explained
 that shortly after her brother’s death, she called their elder brother,
 that was living outside the state but he warned her not to disturb his 
peace. According to her, since she could not bury his brother alone, she
 left the corpse in a room and covered him.<br /><br />“I decided to cover 
him till he comes back because only I cannot bury him. After two years 
of his death, some of our family members came and asked of him and I 
told them he is dead and they said I should show them his grave. I 
opened his room and showed them where he died. Then I was arrested and 
taken to the police station,” she explained.<br /><br />Ngozi denied 
embalming the corpse with native herbs to dry it and prevent any odour 
in the neighbourhood. One of the residents of the area told our reporter
 that a pungent smell pervaded the air within the area for many months 
in the past but no one could trace the source of the stinking odour. It 
was after the shocking discovery was made that residents felt disgusted 
of inhaling such odour from a decomposing corpse.<br /><br />Daily Sun 
gathered that the remains of the deceased were taken to the police 
station, while Ngozi was detained and interrogated for some days. She 
was later granted bail when some of her kindred intervened. The 
relatives also buried the remains of late Stephen in their family 
compound.<br /><br />When our reporter contacted the state Police Public 
Relations Officer, Mr. Uche Eze, he confirmed the incident and said that
 investigations were ongoing.<br /><br /></blockquote>

Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu-Johnson has officially declared her 
support for Goodluck Jonathan‘s re-election bid.

The actress and producer, who is also the vice president of the AGN, was
 present at the recent meeting between Nollywood practitioners and 
Jonathan recently in Lagos and has shared a selfie with Nigeria’s number
 1 citizen.

Toyin shared the pictures on Instagram today with the caption: ‘Selfie 
with our president….I love him very humble..#mychoice.’

With the release of his
 first song of 2015 titled ‘The Sound’ and featuring Uhuru and DJ Buckz,
 HKN boss and BET awards winner, Davido, is once again on the move.

Following the shattering success of 2014, Davido is expected to start 
2015 with the same intensity and it looks like the self-styled Omo Baba 
Olowo is in line with those expectations.

He has embarked on a tour of 3 countries on the African continent where 
he is expected to perform in different cities. He is heading straight to
 Ethiopia and will from there move over to Malawi. According to his tour
 schedule, he’ll make his final stop in Cameroon on February 9, 2015 
before he comes back home.

Godfrey, who is the mother of 7-month old Aleda Seren Adamson, who 
she had with her fiance, Robert Adamson, was stuck underneath the car 
until she was helped out by a good samaritan.<br />

According to TMZ, the car was reportedly trying to avoid a head-on 
collision with another car, before it lost control and went up the side 
walk.<br />

The Independent National Electoral 
Commission in Ondo State has said that registered voters can collect 
their Permanent Voter Cards up until Friday, February 13 of at the local
 government headquarters of the state INEC.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mr. 
Olusegun Agbaje, said on Thursday in Akure that a total of 1, 016, 771 
PVCs had so far been distributed in the state.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He said the figure represented 67.05 per cent of the total number of registered voters.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He said a balance of 477, 398 cards or 31.59 per cent had yet to be collected by their owners.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Agbaje said, “Although collection at the 
different collection centres will close on Sunday, people can go to the 
local government offices to collect their cards.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“Our officials will be available at these places to attend to those coming for their cards until 5pm on Friday.</div>

“So, Ondo citizens will have the privilege of collecting their PVCs until 5pm on the day before the election proper.”</div>

The National Business and Technical 
Examinations Board on Thursday announced the release of the results for 
the 2014 November/December National Business Certificate/National 
Technical Certificate and the Advanced National Business 
Certificate/Advanced National Technical Certificate examinations.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Registrar and Chief Executive of 
NABTEB, Dr. Olatunde Aworanti, who announced this at the board’s 
headquarters in Benin, Edo State on Thursday, said that 45,725 
candidates scored five credits and above in English Language and 
Mathematics.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This, he said, represented 67.01 per 
cent improvement in the NBC/NTC examinations, as against the 36.64 per 
cent recorded in the 2014 May/June examinations.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Aworanti explained that 77,588 candidates enrolled for the examinations which was held in 1,951 centres nationwide.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He said that out of the figure, 70,014 
persons registered for the Ordinary Crafts Level while 7,574 candidates 
enrolled for the Master Crafts Level.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He also said that the board had 
certified a total of 18,926 craftsmen in various trades under the 
Ordinary and Advanced Levels cadres.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The registrar, however, noted that the 
rate of enrolment was still below expectation, in view of the nation’s 
quest for rapid technological development as well as the vital role of 
technical education in the country.</div>

He, therefore, called for favourable policies that would enhance increased participation in NABTEB programmes in the country.</div>

“Both the National Assembly and state 
Houses of Assembly should legislate on the establishment of more modern
