A German hospital nurse was sentenced to life in prison Thursday for murdering two patients who were victims of a suspected wider killing spree that he says claimed 30 lives. The 38-year-old man, identified only as Niels H., has admitted to injecting his patients with lethal drug doses in a bid to try to revive them and shine as a saviour before his medical peers.  “The accused is sentenced to life in prison,” said the presiding judge, finding the defendant guilty of two murders and two attempted murders, and noting the “severity” of the crimes. He was on trial for causing the patients’ deaths in an intensive care ward in northern Germany a decade ago, but admitted during the trial that he had played his deadly game on 90 patients, leading to 30 deaths.  Authorities said Monday they would exhume the bodies of more former patients to test them for traces of the lethal doses of heart medicine amid fears H. is one of the worst serial killers in German post-war history. The sweeping investigation is looking into some 200 fatalities recorded at the hospital where he worked and at his previous places of employment, to find out whether the four cases are only the tip of the iceberg.  The defendant has admitted he injected critically ill patients with lethal doses of heart medicine so he could then show off his skills in resuscitating them at the Delmenhorst hospital near the northern city of Bremen. “Usually the decision to do it was relatively spontaneous,” the handcuffed defendant — who was not fully named under Germany’s strict court reporting rules and has shielded his face behind a paper folder — told the chamber last week.  “There was a tension there, and an expectation of what would happen next,” said the tall and heavy-set man, who apologised to victims’ relatives for his deadly obsession. She is still unresponsive, in a coma, and showing no signs of getting better.  Family sources tell TMZ ... stories that Bobbi Kristina is being taken out of her coma are not accurate. We're told the only change in treatment is that doctors tried weaning her off certain meds to see if she might react but nothing happened. She's in the same condition she's been in for weeks.  Our sources say there have been signs of organ deterioration but she's still basically in the same, unresponsive condition she's been in since a few days after the accident.  As for the tracheotomy, we're told doctors performed the procedure not because she was getting better, but because it's standard operating procedure when a patient might linger in a comatose state for a long period of time.  Our sources say it's possible Bobbi Kristina could hang on for a long period of time in the same state, despite signs of organ failure. It's ultimately up to Bobby Brown to decide how long she'll live in that state.</div>

Fast and Furious 7 to be released on April 10 2015

forthcoming film will be out on April 10 2015, with the note, "He'd want

 Filming on Fast and Furious 7 was delayed after Walker died in a car 
crash in November. Walker had appeared in all the previous six Fast and 
Furious films as Brian O'Conner, a former criminal-turned-policeman. He 
was due to return to the film set in Atlanta with Diesel and fellow cast
 member Dwayne Johnson after Thanksgiving, but filming was halted after 
his crash the previous weekend. <br />
 Production was then shut down on
 the film temporarily so the crew and members of Universal Studios could
 "assess all options available to move forward with the franchise". <br />

The original release date was July 11 2014. Although most of the 
filming had taken place for Fast and Furious 7 by the time of Walker's 
death, the cast and crew were set to finish shooting in Abu Dhabi in 
January. <br />
 There have been no further updates on how Walker's death has affected the script or plot of Fast and Furious 7. <br />

 New York City teenager made the biggest catch of his life when he 
reeled in a 1,058-pound blue marlin off the coast of Hawaii. <br>

Kai Rizzuto's catch came in about 300 pounds short of the <a href="http://wrec.igfa.org/" target="_blank">International Game Fish Association's </a>1982 world record for blue marlin,  which was caught in nearby Kaaiwi Point, about 10 miles up the Kona coast.</div>

Friday gained entrance into the armoury of the Calabar Prison in Cross 
River State and attempted to escape after a gun duel with warders but 
were overpowered by combined team of security agents.</div>

The incident, which occurred at about 
11:00am, was said to have caused pandemonium as residents of 
neighbouring Afokang, Iman and Jebbs areas of the metropolis scampered 
for safety.</div>

The Afokang end of the prison fence was 
broken during the incident while two inmates were said to have escaped 
but the Comptroller of Prisons in the state, Mr. Clement Udosen, denied

54 year old English retail consultant and Queen of Shops star, Mary Portas, revealed last night that the genetic father of her two year old son is in fact her brother.  Miss Portas and her civil partner Melanie Rickey, according to DailyMail, had previously kept their sperm donor's identity anonymous. 13-year-old pupil gets pregnant after being raped

he police have arraigned a 27-year-old 
man, Tope Akintade, for impregnating a primary three pupil, Beatrice 
(pseudonym), after he allegedly raped her.
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Akintade and Beatrice, an orphan, are neighbours at a compound on Baale Street, Agboju, Kuje in the Amuwo area of Lagos State.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
PUN<em>CH Metro</em> learnt that the 
13-year-old victim was outside washing plates in the afternoon, sometime
 in November, when Akintade, who hails from the Idanre Local Government 
Area, Ondo State, lured her to his room and forcefully had sex with her.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Our correspondent gathered that 
Beatrice’s aunt, who preferred to be anonymous because of the nature of 
the incident, had earlier warned the suspect to stay away from her niece
 when she (the minor) complained that he was “playing rough play” with 
her.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Our correspondent learnt that neither 
the aunt nor other lodgers of the compound were around on the fateful 
day to intervene in the act as Akintade reportedly coerced the minor 
into three rounds of sexual romp.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It was gathered that the act, which the 
minor had kept secret, became apparent when she began to exhibit some 
symptoms usually shown by pregnant women.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
She was said to have been taken to a hospital where a test conducted on her revealed that she was three months pregnant.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Akintade was eventually arrested by police officials attached to the Satellite Police Division and charged with rape.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<em>the accused</em> had confessed to the crime in a statement made to the police. A 
prosecutor, Olusoji Ojaokomo, arraigned him before an Apapa Magistrate’s
 Court on two counts of rape.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The charge read, “That you, Tope 
Akintade, 27, on Baale Street, Agboju, Satellite Town, Kunje, Amuwo, 
Lagos, in the Apapa Magisterial District, did defile one Beatrice by 
having canal knowledge of her and thereby committed an offence 
punishable under Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of 
Nigeria, 2011.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“That you, Tope Akintade, did indecently
 assault Beatrice by touching her private parts and thereby committed an
 offence punishable under Section 134 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State
 of Nigeria, 2011.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty
 before the magistrate, Mrs. O.I. Adelaja, who admitted him to bail in 
the sum of N50,000, with two sureties in like sum.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“The sureties must tender to the court evidence of tax payment and their residential addresses for verification,” she added.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
She adjourned the case till March 23, 2015 for mention.</div>
